The Government of India ordered a nationwide lockdown on March 24, 2020 as a preventive measure against the outbreak and spread of COVID-19. Due to the almost-overnight implementation of the lockdown, most businesses were left grappling with legal issues that impacted their operations, to which they had no answers.
