TLH, Advocates & Solicitors advised Cyient Limited in connection with the transfer of the global semiconductor business assets of Cyient Limited to Cyient Semiconductors Private Limited. The transfer also included Cyient’s semiconductor operations in Taiwan.

This restructuring marks a significant milestone in Cyient Limited’s strategy to consolidate and scale its semiconductor business through a dedicated vehicle with focused capital and resources. The transaction forms part of Cyient Limited’s broader commitment to invest USD 100 million in the semiconductor subsidiary to accelerate growth and innovation in fabless ASIC design and chip solutions.

The TLH team advised on the structuring of the transaction and drafting and closing the transaction documents.
